I agree with the goals of education these authors put forth in this book. I do think we, as educators are striving to encourage students to meet these goals. I especially like the following quote in the section, though: "Learning to manage our digital power tools and to apply the critical thhinking and information literacy skills needed to put all this information to good use is a clear challenge for the 21st century." I hope these authors will give us information on how to manage the information.
